Iomramha: Curach Trips and Journeys
As we are not really into racing,
we have been talking a while about using our curachs
for weekend trips and longer journeys. The Aran Islands
trip from Doolin to Inis Oírr in May 2007 provided
the first of such outings for the group (and also a
test for our naomhóga…) while Turas
Cholmcille was a serious 200mls voyage (see Turas
